Well, yesterday, I joined Scrimba's Front End Developer's Path. The first few lessons are basic, designed to get the student use to seeing code. It starts with a little explanation, and than dives right into making a few simple changes in a whole lot of code. But very well explained and easy to follow. In the few months leading up to this, I "played around" with some HTML/CSS to see if coding is something that I want to learn, so some of the code I've seen before, so it wasn't too intimidating. The course teaches HTML from the beginning is seems, all the way to advanced JavaScript and React. There are also free courses that I will be taking, like Python, Figma, Bootstrap, TypeScript and CSS Animation, just to name a few. Of all the courses I've researched, this one seems to offer the essentials of learning how to code, with a simplistic approach. And, there are several other things that are taught, like API, UI design, etc. I am excited to start the learning process! I will keep this blog updated as much as possible, even if the posts are short. Until next time, as we use to say in the trucking industry, keep the shiny side up and keep it in between the ditches!
This blog is a recording of my journey of becoming a website developer.
